It can cause discomfort and other unpleasant symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation to occur. We can prescribe medication to assist in short term treatment of reflux symptoms. Common medications used for this include antacids which work by neutralising excess acids in your stomach

Naproxen 250mg – Ages 18 – 65
Lower back pain can be very uncomfortable and potentially debilitating. In most cases, it ranges in severity from mild to a moderate level; depending on posture and movement, the intensity of the discomfort may fluctuate. Fortunately, we are able to offer medication to aid in managing the pain.
Facial Hair Removal
Vaniqa 11.5% Cream – Ages 19+
Facial hair removal is an issue that can cause significant stress and anxiety for many people, particularly women. Facial hair removal medication has the potential to improve the psychological wellbeing of people who struggle with excessive hair growth e.g. due to PCOS, by reducing the amount of facial hair they have, comfortably, from the privacy of their own homes.
Haemorrhoids

Haemorrhoids, also known as piles, are common issues affecting many people around the world. They are swollen veins situated in or around the back passage that can cause a range of unpleasant symptoms such as intense itching, pain, bright red blood after passing faeces and problematic bowel movements. Haemorrhoids can be quite painful and uncomfortable to live with, but there are a variety of treatments available to help manage them.

Finasteride Tablets – Ages 18+
Hair loss, more accurately known as male pattern baldness or androgenic alopecia, can be a difficult thing to grapple with. Luckily, there is medication available to help to increase hair growth and prevent further hair loss in men with androgenic alopecia. Our pharmacists can prescribe medication without the need for a referral from your doctor.
IBS
Buscopan Tablets – Ages 6+
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common condition that causes stomach pain or discomfort which can lead to additional symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhoea and constipation. Along with lifestyle changes like exercise and reducing stress levels, there are medications we can provide to aid in symptom relief. These medications help reduce stomach spasms from both the genito-urinary tract as well as from the gastrointestinal tract.
Nausea
Metoclopramide Tablets – Ages 18 – 65
This medication is an effective treatment for nausea and vomiting when those symptoms have been induced by a migraine. Some migraine medications can also cause side effects of vomiting and nausea. Metoclopramide can reduce the severity of this symptom while still allowing the potentially beneficial effects of taking these types of medications.
Salbutamol Inhalers
Salamol/ Ventolin/ Airomir Inhalers – Ages 16+
We understand the importance of having a reliable inhaler at-the-ready for asthma sufferers. It can be devastating to have your inhaler lost, damaged, or simply empty – without being able to get in contact with your prescriber for another prescription. We can supply another inhaler for you If you have had a salbutamol inhaler prescribed in the last year.
Urinary Incontinence
